Consultation & Speaking

Yes, I can come talk to your people.

Want someone to come to your workplace, school, organization, or event and talk about trauma, working with teens, post-traumatic growth, or why being a nerd can actually be useful? I’m here for it.

I’m Dr. Sita-Marie K. Pillay, a licensed clinical psychologist, artist, and educator with experience in school-based mental health, trauma-informed practice, and staff training. I offer consultation, workshops, and speaking built around your audience and what you actually need.

Things We Can Talk About

  • Trauma-informed practice: understanding trauma and turning that understanding into practical ways of working with people.
  • Working with teens: connection, boundaries, and supporting young people when things get complicated.
  • Post-traumatic growth: making room for meaning and change without pretending that suffering was a gift.
  • Geek culture and connection: using stories, comics, games, and shared interests to talk about identity, coping, and belonging. Yes, the nerd stuff counts.
  • Neurodivergence: understanding ADHD and supporting different ways of thinking, learning, and participating.
  • Healthy boundaries and staff wellbeing: burnout, secondary traumatic stress, and caring for people without disappearing into the job.

Built for Your People

Bring me in for a staff workshop, team training, guest talk, panel, or consultation. Tell me who’s in the room, what’s happening, and what you’d like them to leave with. We’ll discuss the topic, format, length, location, availability, and fee before anything is booked.

If your topic isn’t on the list, ask. There’s a decent chance I have thoughts.
